Engineer","description":"Role: Project Engineer (1192122)\nLocation: 1001 Cherry Blossom Way, Georgetown, KY\nDuration: 12 Months\nJob Description:\n· Reporting to the FAE Manager, the person in this role will support the FAE-Logistics’ objective to make Assembly Material Handling best-in-industry for human safety, highest quality through part touch reduction, and most efficient utilization of automation technology for non-value-added work reduction.\nWhat you’ll be doing\n· (50%) Project Planning with Plant Logistics and Final Assembly team for upcoming model change.\n· (30%) Evaluating Model change impact to Logistics processes and developing technical equipment change requirements.\n· (10%) Development of new technologies and vendor base for PE (Production Engineering) and Manufacturing Material Handling industry competitiveness improvement within Assembly.\n· (10%) Leading equipment projects from concept to launch for Logistics Automation technology to Assembly across the NAMCs.\n· Close collaboration and relationship building with internal and external groups across Toyota including TMNA Final Assembly Engineering Project Leaders, NAMC’s Pilot team, Logistics,\n· Maintenance, Internal Logistics Engineering regional team, PEPD, and others.\nRequirements:\n· Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering or technical degree or equivalent work experience\n· Experience in Assembly Engineering or Internal Logistics Engineering\n· Ability to travel up to 30% to all North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMCs) as well as Japan for TMC sites and equipment makers.\n· Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required.\nJob Type: Contract\nSchedule:\n8 hour shift\nMonday to Friday\nAbility to commute/relocate:\nGeorgetown, KY 40324: Reliably commute or
