You are essential to ensure customers get the goods they are eagerly waiting for.\nAwesome Work Culture: Positive culture and team environment!\nBe Home Daily: Enjoy the benefits of being a professional driver while coming home to your family every evening.\nResponsibilities:\nArrive at FedEx terminal on time to pick up vehicle and packages\nConduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections\nOperate delivery vehicles safely, securely, and competently\nHandle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the packages, vehicle, or yourself\nEffectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately\nScanning and logging packages\nRequirements:\nDrivers must be 21 years of age or older\nDrivers must have a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report\nDrivers must be willing to submit to a background check\nDrivers must be able to physically manage packages up to 150 lbs\nDrivers must be able to work in all weather conditions\nDrivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)\nSAFETY, INTEGRITY, PUNCTUALITY, and CUSTOMER SERVICE are top priorities!\nDelivery Driver\nDuties:\n- Safely operate a tractor-trailer or delivery van to transport goods to designated locations\n- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery\n- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods\n- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks\n- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving\n- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures\n- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients\nSkills:\n- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record\n- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role\n- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns\n- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles\n- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries\n- Excellent communication and customer service skills\nNote: Experience with courier services, warehouse operations, and using pallet jacks is a plus.\nJoin our team as a Delivery Driver and be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills and dedication will be valued.
