Candidate must be comfortable working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. Previous work experience in a fast paced industrial environment is required. The person selected will be working directly with other members of the production team, safety, quality and engineering.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:\nAbility to learn and follow work instructions\nPerform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards\nMeet / Exceed production standards\nExcellent time management and communication skills\nAbility to work both independently and with a team\nSelf-Motivated\nFollows Company safety and department policies and procedures\nMaintains neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology\nMakes recommendations to continually improve processes\nPerforms other duties as assigned\n\nPrimary Qualifications:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.\nHigh School diploma / GED preferred\nProven commitment to quality complaince and productivity\nTwo months job related experience required, including machine operator / maintenance\nAbility to identify ultrasonic, thermal, electrical and pneumatic concerns\nAbility to follow work instructions from start up to shut down\nKnowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out\nGood applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills\nAbility to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure\nAbility to be self-motivated\nWorkplace Experience:\nPrevious manufacturing experience is preferred.\nErgonomic Requirements:\nAbility to Stand for Long Periods of Time\nAbility to use Power Tools safely\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
