Our teams engage with various federal agencies to develop and deploy emerging technology solutions using a tailored Agile methodology.\nWe are seeking a Software Developer (Microsoft Power Platform) to develop and maintain business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform within the VAEC framework for the VA Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA) Data Management Center (DMC).\nIn this role, you will support the DMC portfolio of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI reports, and SharePoint integrations, ensuring all solutions comply with VA governance, security, and active umbrella ATO requirements (FIPS 199 Moderate).\nWork location to be confirmed but anticipated to be a mix of on-premises (DC) and remote.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nDevelop and maintain business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform within the VAEC framework\nSupport the DMC portfolio of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI reports, and SharePoint integrations\nDevelop Power BI reports and dashboards using existing Power BI Service licenses, deployed Report Server, gateway, and designated workspace\nIntegrate Power Platform solutions with SQL database, SharePoint, and custom .NET applications\nMaintain and support the DMC SharePoint environment and public-facing OAA website components\nEnsure Power Platform solutions comply with VA governance, security, and active umbrella ATO requirements (FIPS 199 Moderate)\nSupport user testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of low-code solutions\nDocument application logic, workflows, and data dependencies\nRequired Experience, Skills, and Qualifications\nRequired Skills:\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future\nMust be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role\nMust complete VA background investigation, Identity Proofing, Fingerprinting, and PIV credentialing in accordance with VA Handbook 0710\n4+ years of experience developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform\nProven experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI\nExperience with SQL database and SharePoint integration\nDesired Skills:\nMicrosoft Power Platform certifications\nFamiliarity with VA ATO requirements\nEducation Requirement\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (no equivalencies accepted)\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision benefits or Health and Welfare payments\nGroup Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance\nLong-Term Disability Insurance\nHealth Care Flexible Spending Account\nDependent Care Flexible Spending Account\nUnlimited Vacation\nSick Leave\n11 Federal Holidays\nRetirement 401(k) Plan with employer matching\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nCompany-sponsored training and certifications\nMentoring/Coaching\nAdditional Information\nThis position is contingent upon contract award.
