Tasks may include defining solutions to meet customer requirements, analysis and validation of customer driven designs, and providing technical guidance to internal resources. In this role will serve as theWhat a typical day looks like:Definition and execution of product validation, onboarding of new product, failure analysis, and working closely with program stakeholders.Bring together Operations resources, local CEC resources, and global CEC resources to enhance customer satisfactionExpertise in data center infrastructure production and solutions, identify new and emerging technologies and participate in technical system requirements and design reviewsProvides technical input to RFP/RFQ response and creates system level and component level documentation, collaborating with internal and/or Customer design teamsProvides input to design and test development teams to support validation and production test including, but is not limited to functional, reliability, performance, environmental, mechanical, and software compatibility testingResolves manufacturing yield and field reliability problems by performing analysis of root causes, and developing corrective action measureAnalyzes and interprets technical test data and prepares test reportsConducts validation of system components, including HDDs, SSDs, IO cards, memory, BMC/BIOS firmware, etc.Trains factory support, test technicians, and test operators on system hardware and/or softwareAnalyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failures (software and hardwareThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering5-7 years’ Manufacturing Industry experienceworking knowledge of cloud and data center enterprise computing hardware includingpower distribution, cooling, and AI Data Center trends that push technology and factory requirementsComprehensive understanding of industry open standards for rack and system designsExperience with Linux OS installation and configuration, shell scripting, error log analysis, andat least one scripting languageTravel 50% based on business needsExcellent communication skills – direct & unassuming, with the ability to quickly assess complex issues and discern the key messagesAble to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clear and customer-focused approach to solving problemsAbility to establish priorities, work independently, and complete objectives with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with software development and tracking software such as VisualStudio, Jira/Bitbucket/Git, etc.Experience in working in an NPI environment and transferring products between facilities.Working knowledge of production assembly and test processesYV1EA1EA42SS26AA01CH12MS14CC11EC37PF38JS21Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
