The Sr. Project Manager will work closely with the organizations Leadership Team, Regional Operations Heads, vendors and contractors in the creation of project plans, implementation of initiatives, tracking/reporting of progress, ensuring projects meet expected completion date and that they be within budgetary threshold.\n\nEssential Functions:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nProject Management of key projects and oversight of all network projects for Operations and all Corporate departments.\nBuild, manage and standardize project plans within multiple tracking and reporting platforms.\nResponsible for project scope set-up, roll-out of prioritized projects, executing against timelines and tracking expenses against budget.\nWork with staff to build, manage and outline project objectives, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants.\nEnsure daily project calls are covered, travel to regional/national locations as needed and cover on-site start up support.\nPerform a key role in managing vendor relations by ensuring appropriate planning, budgeting, and expense tracking is in place.\nSupport tasks for operations which include: new facility set-up, new customer onboarding, continuous improvement initiatives, MHE evaluation and procurement, safety, tenant improvement initiatives, capital expenditure process, proforma support and inventory control strategies.\nMust be able to carry out optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment.\nResponsible for clearly communicating and coordinating with the operation team(s), contractors, vendors and other key stakeholders.\nResponsible for creating an atmosphere that promotes employee involvement while communicating regularly with all employees keeping them abreast of our Company values and goals.\nCore Behaviors:\nDemonstrate to comply with Custom Goods’ Core Behavior:\nServant Leadership\nPassion for Excellence\nIntegrity\nResilient\nIntense Safety Focus\nTrust\n\nRequired Education and Experience\nPreferred but not required to have a bachelor’s degree\nPreferred PMP Trained and Certified\nRequired logistics experience or similar of freight forwarding, 3PL, 4PL\nPreferred WMS Manhattan Scale or any WMS tool\nMust be able to demonstrate as a project lead on key projects with significant regional/global impact\n3+ years' experience in project management running large-scale / multi-functional projects\n3+ years' experience with Change management and Risk / Risk Mitigation\nMust be able to scope, set-up and roll-out prioritized projects as Project Manager\nAbility to react to changes in the project environment to ensure and to protect project profitability\nTravel on-site to start-up and lead implementation of projects.
