This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to manage daily field operations effectively.\n\nWhat Youll Do\nPlan and direct crew activities to achieve production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.\nRead and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and cost reports to track progress and resolve material discrepancies.\nSupervise construction of structural concrete elements including foundations, columns, caps, decks, and flatwork.\nDirect forming, pouring, and finishing operations using systems such as EFCO, Doka, and wood forms.\nCoordinate equipment, materials, and personnel to execute work plans efficiently.\nTrain, mentor, and guide crew members in safe work practices, production techniques, and proper equipment use.\nMaintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and equipment logs.\nEnsure compliance with all company safety policies and promote a culture of safety through toolbox talks and regular inspections.\nThis job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.\n\nWhat Were Looking For\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on concrete structures.\nProven supervisory experience required.\nStrong knowledge of concrete types, rebar, forming systems, and finishing techniques.\nFamiliarity with crane and rigging principles, concrete testing, and pour rate management.\nStrong organizational and prioritization skills with great attention to detail.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDependable, self-motivated, and task-oriented leader.\nAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions up to 90% of the time.\nPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work on uneven terrain.\nExperience with Mobile Timecard or similar systems preferred.\nBilingual in Spanish preferred.\nMust be licensed and approved to operate a company vehicle.\nMust be able to climb ladders and scaffolding and walk on uneven surfaces across active construction sites.\n\nWhy Youll Love Working with Us\nAt Zachry, we invest in our people because theyre the foundation of our success.
