They must understand business, business insight and have a broad understanding of multiple business areas in order to successfully maintain, enhance, and develop systems and applications in BSE.\nIs responsible for technical research of current industry trends, emerging technologies, system integration and configuration for meeting functional and nonfunctional requirements.\nIs responsible for clear communication and coordination between stakeholders and IT leadership, project managers, other developers, and other implementation technicians to address various issues, resolve queries, communicate project status, milestones, delays, challenges, risks and risk mitigation plans.\nSystems Analyst responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:\nGather and analyze business requirements and prepare functional requirements, design documentation, technical specification documents to develop department's systems\nProvide structured, detailed analysis of business processes, requirements and documentation\nFunctions as a technical consultant or researcher\nPerform technical research and evaluation of technologies, tools, databases, methods, etc.\nAnalyze detailed requirements and documentation\nProgram and implement efficient solutions for business requirements\nContribute on project planning, organization, implementation\nContribute to activity definition, activity sequencing, activity resource estimating, activity duration estimating, WBS development\nContribute to risk identification, tracking, analysis\nContribute to issue management and tracking\nEffective communications management\nEffective communication among project stakeholders\nCoordinate activities with department's staff required to support the project\nAids staff in the preparation of procurement documents and evaluation of proposals and contract negotiations\nProvide weekly status reports to the project manager\nAssist in user training in a train-the-trainer environment\nCustomer expectations met with project\nCreate, update, and execute test case scenarios following the department methodology of development testing, system testing, and User Acceptance testing\nAssist with the production implementation as needed\nMandatory Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience\nMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst on successful, enterprise level information technology projects\nModel and apply software engineering methods and techniques to the design, definition, development, evaluation, integration, and/or support of IT solutions\nWork independently or cooperatively with other software developers\nPerform analysis and troubleshooting of system defects and issues\nExperience with business analysis to gather and document requirements\nExperience creating test plans, test cases, and performance testing\nAbility to code according to specifications with minimal defects\nUse defined procedures to configure, test and debug software\nAssists with technology solution architecture design and installation\nExperience in programming to adhere to ADA compliance in web applications\nExperience in delivering projects in the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification, and within the approved budget\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nAbility to code in the following environments and/or using the tools:JBOSS EAP 7.0 and higher\nJava 8.0 and higher\nJ2EE (JSP, EJB, JPA)\nJava Frameworks like JSF or similar\nJavascript\nMS SQL Server 2012 or higher\nStored procedures, triggers, views, etc.\nWeb services\nXML\nLinux\nHTML\nCSS\nPreferred Knowledge Skills and
