Aerospace Quality Supervisor
Job Description
Aerospace Quality Supervisor ensures products and manufacturing processes meet strict regulatory, safety and customer standards (e.g. NADCAP). They lead quality teams, conduct audits, manage supplier quality, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborates with management and senior staff across production departments and roles to draft acceptable quality standardsReviews and revises quality documentation such as SOPs, Logs, and reports for effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy and relevance.Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and when required, regulatory agencies. Requires team leadership: lead, manage and mentor quality assurance and control personnel including performance managementProcess Improvement: utilize statistical analysis to identify improvement areas and enhance product quality.Audit: lead internal and external auditsCorrective Actions: manage root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer complaint investigations. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management- master's is preferred.Experience: 7-10+ years in manufacturing quality assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership roleTechnical Knowledge: expertise in AS9100 or NADCAP and statistical process control toolSkills: strong analytical, communication, leadership and problem-solving skillsCertfications: ASQ certification
