Conducts required quality checks and interprets production work orders.\n\nEssential Functions:\nOperate production machines and equipment following accepted practices.\nMust be able to operate material handling equipment such as overhead hoists and cranes.\nPerform minor maintenance on machines and equipment including lubrication, cleaning, adjustments and minor maintenance checks.\nMake machine set-ups as requested / required for differing job runs.\nAccurately report daily activities on work orders, Kanban cards and other media as required.\nMeet established production standards.\nMust understand how to interpret and use production work orders / product router special instructions.\nConduct required quality checks using defined measurement equipment.\nExercise safe working habits while operating machines. Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards.\nComply with the Quality Management System.\nProperly follow Work Instruction / Training Guides & Control Plans\nAdhere to ISO14001 Environmental Policies applicable to assigned areas & overall general plant requirements.\nAdhere to Auxiliary Axle Systems Employee Handbook\nOther duties as assigned.\nMaintain regular attendance.\n\nEducation and Training\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nMinimum Qualifications\n1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar industry.\nBe self-motivated, have strong initiative and strong communication skills.\nComputer skills required.\nAbility to work hours outside regular schedule and overtime as needed.\nPhysical Demands\nRegularly required to stand; walk; bend; balance; and grasp. Occasionally required to climb; squat; or kneel.\nRegularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
