impact communities.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvide high-level project oversight to ensure quality outcomes, manage client relationships, and mitigate risks\n\nBe subject to periodic review and critique of established EAPC Principal outcomes, abilities, and key performance indicators\n\nProactively consider project execution from contract negotiations through the construction warranty period\n\nEnsure appropriate QAQC and final project review\n\nComplete final review of project invoices\n\nMonitor client accounts receivable for timely payment of services rendered\n\nResponsible for contributing to the management of EAPC's project portfolio by attending to Board, Executive, Production, Technical, and Marketing meetings as requested\n\nAdditionally, shall fill the role and expectations of a Senior Level Structural Engineer, including:\n\nManage multiple small to medium-sized projects and large projects\n\nBe involved in the development of new business opportunities and the support of existing clients\n\nProvide oversight and mentoring of the work performed by junior staff\n\nProvide structural design, detailing, and calculations as required for all phases of the design of new buildings and structures, as well as additions to and renovations of existing buildings and structures\n\nPerform structural investigations and/or feasibility studies, including the writing of reports and providing cost estimates when required\n\nPerform site visits as required to field verify existing conditions, dimensions, elevations, etc\n\nDevelop technical solutions to deliver the design through documentation and detailing while preserving the design intent\n\nApply computerized analysis and design tools\n\nParticipate in all project design phases along with construction administration\n\nComplete necessary project-related calculations and authoring of specifications\n\nPerform project management duties, including assisting individual project managers with the development and management of project budgets, scopes, fees, and production coordination with progression toward independently performing these duties\n\nCollaborate with multiple professional disciplines and be required to work within project deadlines\n\nDemonstrate an ongoing and consistent ability to work within the EAPC team culture\n\nQualifications\n\nDemonstrated successful history of technical expertise, team leadership, and years of experience in the AE design industry\n\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer\n\nPositive track record of project quality and understanding of risk management\n\nMinimum 8+ years of demonstrated experience in the design and detailing of buildings and structures utilizing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood\n\nBachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree\n\nExperience designing low to mid-rise commercial, medical, educational, and industrial structures\n\nKnowledge of relevant building codes related to the structural design of buildings and structures\n\nProficient with structural design software such as RAM, RISA, Enercalc, or similar programs\n\nExperience mentoring/training structural EITs\n\nDemonstrated ability to sign and stamp individual work as well as review and stamp the work of other structural engineers or EITs\n\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills\n\nWillingness to travel and work remotely as required to meet project and corporate demands\n\nProject management and business
