They help businesses streamline and automate routing, scheduling, dispatching, billing, and fleet management—empowering them to reduce costs, improve on-time performance, and deliver better service to their customers and communities.We're looking for a Controller to own the financial operations as they scale. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment -- someone who can create the financial structure, close the books, build the right controls, and also sit in a room with the CEO and translate the numbers into decisions. You'll oversee a small but capable team and work closely with their external bookkeeping and accounting partners to keep everything running cleanly.This role is right for someone who has done this before at a growth-stage company and knows what good looks like -- and who wants room to actually build it.This is a hybrid position (4 days in office, 1 day remote) in Nashville. The salary range is $130,000-150,000, based on experience, plus an annual bonus opportunity.What You’ll DoMonth-end and year-end close -- own the full process, top to bottomGeneral ledger oversight and integrityFinancial reporting for internal leadership and any external stakeholdersBudget vs. actuals analysis with meaningful commentaryInternal controls design and complianceAudit preparation and external auditor coordinationTax coordination with outside advisorsAR/AP team leadership (team of 2 + external bookkeeping firm)Deferred revenue and revenue recognitionInvestor relations with external capital providers for finance and tax related itemsWhat We’re Looking For7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2-3 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role. CPA preferred, or strong desire to achieve soon.Experience at a growth-stage SaaS or technology company, requiredSolid understanding of deferred revenue and revenue recognition (ASC 606), requiredProficient in modern accounting systems and experiencing leading an accounting system migration, a plus. ( ex.
