In this highly collaborative role, you'll help manage project documentation, budgets, contracts, vendor coordination, HOA-related activities, and regulatory compliance efforts across multiple communities. This position offers the opportunity to build a broad understanding of the land development process while working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, local agencies, and division leadership in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Through coordinating key activities and maintaining critical project information, you'll play an important role in supporting the successful execution of community development projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Administration\nMaintain critical project documentation, ensuring records are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to internal and external stakeholders.\nManage and update project-related documents, including disclosures, HOA documentation, easements, agreements, lot and grading information, kickoff materials, and community records.\nCoordinate vendor onboarding, maintain vendor information, and support contract execution, invoice processing, and payment inquiries.\nAssist with performance surety tracking, reporting, and exoneration activities, working with project teams, contractors, and local jurisdictions.\nCoordinate utility account setup, activation, payment, and transfer activities for land development projects.\nSupport project schedules, timelines, reporting, and cross-functional communication to help keep projects organized and on track.\nProject Estimating & Budgeting\nAssist Land Project Managers with project estimating, budgeting, bid requests, and bid document preparation.\nSupport the bid evaluation process by preparing bid comparisons and maintaining supporting documentation.\nCoordinate contract preparation for awarded work and track contract change orders throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnter and maintain project budgets, cost information, and cash flow forecasts within company systems.\nAssist with monthly budget reviews and financial reporting for division leadership, ensuring project data remains accurate and current.\nHOA & Community Management\nSupport the formation and administration of Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and Metro Districts, ensuring required documentation, disclosures, and annexation materials are completed and distributed.\nCoordinate with HOA management companies, consultants, and stakeholders to support community governance and ongoing operations.\nFacilitate Design Review Committee (DRC) processes and maintain related records.\nAssist with HOA and Metro District board activities, including meeting preparation, attendance, and follow-up actions.\nCoordinate common area acceptance, maintenance oversight, and final turnover of community assets, documentation, and responsibilities.\nStormwater & Regulatory Coordination\nAssist with stormwater permitting activities and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government agencies to support regulatory compliance.\nMaintain stormwater management records and reporting systems to ensure inspections, corrective actions, and documentation are completed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.\nTrack stormwater-related costs and support project reporting efforts.\nCoordinate permit closeout activities and the release of applicable fiscal securities.\nCommunity Oversight\nConduct periodic community inspections and coordinate with project teams, HOA representatives, landscapers, and vendors to maintain attractive, well-kept common areas.\nIdentify maintenance or appearance concerns and assist in coordinating timely resolution to support community standards.\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor's degree required; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.\n2–3 years of experience supporting land acquisition, planning, land development, construction, real estate, or a related function.\nExperience working with Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and/or Metro Districts is a plus.\nStrong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, consultants, contractors, municipalities, and other stakeholders.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to create, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets and reports.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation, records, and project information.\nAbility to exercise sound judgment, problem-solve, and follow through on multiple projects and administrative processes simultaneously.\nWillingness to travel periodically to project sites, municipalities, utility providers, and other stakeholder locations as needed.\nFlexibility to attend HOA and/or Metro District meetings, which may occasionally occur outside of standard business hours and may be held virtually or in person.\nRequirements:\nThe ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to stand or sit for extended periods.\nAbility to move about work location.\nAbility to drive/travel as needed.\nAbility to walk up and down stairs.\nAbility to observe details at close range and communicate information so others will understand.\nAbility to transport and move up to 20 lbs and move as needed (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/IT/Land/Marketing/Sales/Studio).\nPeriodically works in outdoor weather conditions (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/Land/Sales)\nConduct business professionally and ethically.\nThis position is located at the division office. #LI-onsite\nCompensation Details and Benefits: KB Home offers a competitive base pay. The expected range for this position is based on experience and is noted below, paid semi-monthly. Other rewards may include bonuses or role-specific awards.
