Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Communications Manager to join a financial services company in New York, NY. This is a 6-month contract to start with the potential for extensions. Pay: $46.00 - $51.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.Schedule: HybridDescription:The Marketing & Communications team oversees the marketing and communication strategy of our company in the Americas, predominately for the Corporate & Institutional Banking franchise, in collaboration with the Group (Paris) communications teams. The functions of this group today include: Events & Sponsorship, Media Relations, Marketing, Social Media, Content, Philanthropic Initiatives, Advertising, Client Creative Services, Internal Communications and Video Services. The Internal Communications & Content Officer is a role that is responsible for developing and executing all internal communications initiatives while creating compelling content for both internal and external audiences - the content strategy therefore spans both internal and external channels. This role focuses specifically on supporting our Institutional Clients businesses (Global Markets Americas, 2S, and FIC), serving as a communications partner for these business lines. This individual will build strong relationships within the business and will be responsible sourcing relevant topics, coordinating editorial content, and managing content distribution across multiple platforms, including:Internal channels (internal mailings, all-staff meetings, Echonet platform)External channels (CIB Content Hub, social media, thought leadership articles) Additionally, this role will actively participate in cross-CIB communications initiatives to ensure alignment and consistency across the organization. The role reports to the Head of Internal Communications and Content Strategy, Institutional Clients. Responsibilities:Content Creation & Communication:Draft internal announcements, including organizational updates, employee news, HR communications, and CSR initiativesDevelop executive speeches and talking points to position leaders as thought leadersCreate original content showcasing business accomplishments, projects, and team achievements for multiple platforms (Echonet, CIB Content Hub, US website, digital channels, and social media)Produce client facing materials, thought leadership articles, and multi-channel campaigns that reinforce the firm's brand and market positioning.Awards & Recognition:Manage the awards pitching pipeline in collaboration with our Marketing and Media Relations teams, including identifying opportunities, coordinating submissions, and tracking progressOversee internal and external amplification of awards and recognitions to maximize visibility and impactAnalytics & Impact AssessmentManage analytical assessments of both communications performance and content effectiveness across internal and external distribution tools, providing insights to optimize reach and impact.Event & Engagement Management:Plan and execute Town Halls, executive briefings, and employee engagement activities (in-person and digital)Broadcast internal news via email, Echonet, and other communication channelsPlatform & Operations Management:Oversee day-to-day internal communications operations, including Echonet platform administration, email distribution tools, and digital signage managementStakeholder Relations & Collaboration:Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across businesses and functionsPartner with the wider Marketing & Communications team, Internal Communications in Paris, and the CIB Content Hub and Social Media teamsEmployee Engagement Innovation:Design and implement innovative employee engagement initiatives to foster connection, collaboration, and culture across the organization, including creative formats for town halls, interactive digital experiences, and recognition programsGuidelines & Compliance:Implement and uphold internal communications guidelinesContribute content to the weekly CIB internal newsletter in collaboration with US functions and business linesAdditional Responsibilities:Support ad hoc projects as needed Minimum Required Qualifications:4-7 years of experience in internal communications, preferably within a bank or financial institutionBachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related fieldIntranet, mailing and website management experience, as well as familiarity with social network platformsFoundational knowledge of banking and marketsExceptional communication skills, including:Excellent written, verbal communication, and strategic thinking skillsClear, concise verbal and written communicationStrong project management skills, with the ability to:Prioritize and organize complex initiativesExercise independent judgment in a fast-paced environmentStakeholder management expertise, including:Building consensus among executive stakeholdersCollaborating across the organization while maintaining professionalismAnalytical skills to synthesize data and derive actionable insightsVersatility to work both independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience supporting an Investment Banking business strongly encouragedPrimary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
