Safran Aircraft Engines also deploys a global network providing a full range of support, maintenance & repair services.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nFollow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures.\n\nEstablish a daily, weekly, and monthly shipping plan (goals) and communicate plan within the team.\n\nDirectly responsible for reviewing component condition, determining repair work scope, understanding customer requirements, and establishing the component ship date.\n\nInterpret and disposition inspection findings to create technical findings reports for necessary repairs.\n\nDevelop and ensure work scopes are communicated to all levels of the company.\n\nReview and manage Time Gates (TG), On Time Delivery (OTD), and Ship Date Accuracy (SDA) with all departments.\n\nCommunicate exceptions that will necessitate a change to the planned ship date or customer requirement.\n\nInitiate and monitor continuous improvement programs for efficiencies, quality, production flow and customer requirements.\n\nManage quality exceptions with Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Production including reworks that occur during the repair process.\n\nCoordinate with production and scheduling departments to ensure labor factors are accurately reviewed and maintained.\n\nUtilize computer software programs and applications in assigning, verifying, tracking, and monitoring metrics and job assignments.\n\nCommunicate material requirements to the production and purchasing teams to properly stock for your component material needs.\n\nWeekend support can be required at times, once a month on average for 2‑4 hours.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nA minimum of 1‑2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting, or relevant industry.\n\nA minimum of an associate degree or equivalent work experience.\n\nExposure to directing projects, processes, or repairs.\n\nExperience in understanding and following verbal and written instructions accurately, including the reading and interpretation of technical drawings and work scope instructions.\n\nOTHER QUALIFICATIONS\n\nRead, write, speak, and understand the English language.\n\nAbove average knowledge of computers and standard software programs.\n\nExperience in interpreting and applying basic shop math and the use of measuring devices, such as micrometers and calipers.\n\nStrong organizational and problem‑solving skills.\n\nComputer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including the ability to work with basic data processing software.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\n\nThis position has pre‑employment testing requirements that may require fitness for duty testing and a vision exam.\n\nFollow general shop safety procedures including the occasional use of safety glasses, safety toe shoes, and hearing protection.\n\nStand and/or sit for portions of the shift.\n\nOccasionally required to lift, carry, push or pull up to 10 lbs.\n\nCOMPANY BENEFITS\nOur employees and families are the number one asset at CRT.
