This role is responsible for providing specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The ideal candidate will create a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, self-regulation, and positive social interactions.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goalsWrite IEP goals and Progress Notes for individual students.Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and supportsCollaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and familiesCollect and analyze student data to monitor progress and inform instructionSupport students in developing coping strategies, social skills, and emotional regulationParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisionsMaintain accurate and compliant documentationMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree or higher; NH State Certification in General Special Ed (1900) required; EBD certification preferred; Applicant must be able to pass a State and Federal Criminal Background check;Additional Qualifications:Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges preferredStrong understanding of behavior management strategies and trauma-informed practicesAbility to build positive relationships with students, families, and staffExcellent communication, organization, and collaboration skillsTO APPLY: Submit application, resume, letters of reference and other required documentation online by visiting the Human Resources page of our website: www.sau41.org.All applicants must apply online.Position will remain as Open Until Filled.
