If you are looking for an opportunity to work on the state-of-the-art digital relays that protect and control the electrical power system, then this position is for you!\nWhat You Will Do\nSupport the design, testing, and validation of electrical and electronic systems.\nParticipate in hardware and firmware verification activities.\nConduct testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis in a manufacturing setting.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing engineers.\nAnalyze test results, identify issues, and recommend design improvements to enhance product reliability and performance while adhering to engineering and quality standards.\nRequired Qualifications\nPursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nStrong academic performance and interest in electrical engineering fundamentals.\nKnowledge of circuit analysis, electronics, digital logic, PCB design and prototyping concepts.\nFamiliarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nBackground check results satisfactory to SEL\nNegative drug test result(s)\nPreferred Qualifications\nCoursework or project experience in power systems, embedded systems, control systems, or communications.\nExperience with C/C++/C#, Python, or other engineering tools.\nKnowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD tools.\nFamiliarity with networking protocols and serial communications.\nWhat You'll Gain\nHands-on engineering experience on meaningful projects.\nMentorship from experienced SEL engineers.\nExposure to industry-leading power system technologies.\nOpportunities to develop technical and professional skills.\nExperience working in a collaborative and mission-driven engineering environment.\nLocation Information\nThis position is located in Pullman, WA.
