{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a74cba9ec68a42424e4b5aba","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a74cba9ec68a42424e4b5aba","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a74cba9ec68a42424e4b5aba","title":"Electrical Assembler","description":"Job Title: Electrical Assembler\nJob Location: Gilbert AZ 85233\nJob Type: 06+ months of contract with extension\nMax Pay: $31/hr. on W2 without benefits\nShift: 2nd shift 3pm to 12am M-F\nKey Responsibilities:\nAs an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will:\nPerform soldering in accordance with IPC-J-STD on printed circuit boards, printed wire boards, and circuit card assemblies both through hole and surface mount applications.\nAssemble chassis and final units using circuit cards, wire harnesses, soldering/crimping tools, and precision instruments.\nPerform high-reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub-assemblies, including board-level repairs and jumper wire installations.\nWork with multi-pin connectors and assemblies to meet stringent government and customer specs.\nInterpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and electronic work instructions.\nFollow ESD protocols and maintain certification standards for high-reliability soldering.\nCollaborate with engineering to troubleshoot, rework, and improve testing procedures.\nMaintain cleanliness and traceability documentation for controlled programs.\nTo be considered for this role, typically you’ll bring:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent formal training.\n5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly and soldering.\nExpertise in crimping, medical device assembly, board-level repair, and electronic units.\nFamiliarity with J-STD, IPC 610/620 standards, and torque/crimping tools.\nNice To Have:\nIPC-610\nJ-STD-001\nIt’s a plus if you have:\nNASA 8739 soldering certification.\nExperience with avionics components (e.g., circuit card rework, coating, installation).\nAbility to read and work directly from engineering drawings.\nStrong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.\nPay: $30.00 -
