LTS Technician / LTS Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an LTS Technician / LTS Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Racine, WI. The ideal candidate must be able to provide hands‑on, onsite technical support for data centers, manufacturing sites, and office environments, serving as the physical extension of centralized IT teams. This role focuses on maintaining uptime through hardware support, break/fix activities, asset management, and onsite troubleshooting in environments where physical presence is required.Rate Range: $30/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.LTS Technician Job Responsibilities IncludePerform data center and network hardware support, including rack‑and‑stack, equipment mounting, cable tracing and replacement, labeling, and physical connectivity checks.Provide onsite and remote‑hands support for network hardware (switches, routers, access points) under direction of Network and Infrastructure Engineering teams.Support field site and end‑user hardware, including workstation setup, device installs, break/fix repairs, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records, including CMDB updates, lifecycle tracking, audits, labeling, shipping, and hardware retirement.Perform routine onsite operational health checks, verify physical equipment condition, and coordinate escalations with centralized IT teams.Desired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (technical certification or related education preferred).2+ years of experience providing hands‑on IT support in enterprise, manufacturing, or data center environments.Experience with physical hardware support, asset management, and break/fix troubleshooting.Ability to follow instructions from centralized IT, Network Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for asset and inventory tracking.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
