We will continue to innovate and do our part to preserve the environment by creating vehicles to reduce carbon emissions.\n\nOverview: Assembler of school, activity, and commercial buses.\n\nPosition Summary:\n\nThis position will play a pivotal role in the Continuous Improvements Team to bridges the gap between engineering design and operational execution, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, safe, and continuously improving.\n\nThis position will report to the Engineering Manager.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nProcess & Resource Optimization: Analyzing labor resources and workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.\n\nTechnical Support: Assist in the build, installation and revisions of parts and materials as well as troubleshooting issues.\nData Analysis: Collecting and interpreting production data to monitor performance and predict potential problems and complete root cause analysis\nDocumentation: Maintaining detailed records of line performance, part and process modifications\nCollaboration: Working closely with engineers, production associates & team leaders, and quality control teams to implement process efficiencies and improvements\nCompliance and Safety: Ensuring processes adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required, an associate degree in process technology, engineering, or related field is preferred.\nCertification in automotive mechanical or electrical systems is a plus\n2+ years of related experience and/or training preferred\nEquivalent combination of education and experience\nExperience in automotive repairs, production, assembly, or manufacturing necessary\nAbility to read and interpret prints, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documents preferred\nGood problem-solving skills and attention to detail required\n\nRequirements:\nMust be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision\nMust demonstrate good time management skills\nMust possess strong planning, organizational and execution skills\nMust have the ability to set goals and meet deadlines\nMust possess excellent internal and external customer service skills\nMust demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner\nMust possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution\nMust have the ability to establish strong working relationships with co-workers and management\nMust have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities: No\n\nWorking Conditions and Environment: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)\n\nLong and varied hours required occasionally\nOffice environment consistent with typical office environment\nExposure to fumes, chemicals, and toxic items that require training for haz-mat\n\nTravel: No\n\nPhysical Demands (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions):\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear.
