The ideal candidate will have experience in managing small to medium repair issues, and maintain our vehicles' performance and safety standards. Vehicles are on the road every day, and most maintenance will be handled early AM or in the evenings. No billing or sales of jobs required. Potential to manage your own crew of apprentice mechanics and grow with the company's fleet requirements.\n\nTools, and vehicle provided.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nConduct inspections and maintenance checks on our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition\n\nDiagnose and fix minor mechanical issues, including lights, back-up cameras, and VEDR (Vehicle Event Data Recorder) systems\n\nOrder and replace parts as necessary, ensuring an adequate stock of essential components\n\nCollaborate with third-party mechanic shops for major repairs and ensure quality control of their work\n\nPerform in-house repairs, focusing on small repair tasks efficiently and effectively\n\nDocument all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts replacements accurately and maintain organized records\n\nCollaborate with the operations team to ensure vehicles are available and ready for daily delivery operations\n\nRoadside assistance calls as needed\n\nAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a secure working environment\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nSalary: From $55,000.00 per year\n\nExperience level:\n\n1 year\n\nSchedule:\n\nEvening shift\n\nOn call\n\nExperience:\n\nMechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)\n\nWork Location: In person\n\nBlack Swan Logistics has a relationship with FedEx Ground to service their last mile delivery of packages out of 4 facilities.
