We partner with world-renowned manufacturers to deliver critical aerospace components, safety equipment, and spares worldwide.\nKey Responsibilities\nAPI & Application Programming\nDevelop applications within Visual Studio, preferably using Visual Basic .NET, to integrate with various online platforms and internal systems.\nBuild, maintain, and optimize API connections to external websites, internal databases, and vendor-specific tools.\nProficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs (RESTful, SOAP, or other protocols).\nStrong understanding of API security practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.\nExperience with integrating APIs with various systems, databases, and third-party services.\nCollaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into automated, scalable solutions.\nWork with legacy systems; knowledge of Visual COBOL is a plus.\nDocument Management (M-Files)\nModify, configure, and manage the M-Files Document Management System.\nUse VBA to customize workflows, metadata structures, and automation within M-Files.\nTraining will be provided for M-Files if the applicant does not have prior experience.\nQualifications and Required Skills:\n3-5 years of experience in an Information Technology role supporting a cross-functional team in a B2B environment.\nStrong experience in API development and application programming.\nProficiency in Visual Basic .NET.\nWorking knowledge of VBA.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.\nAbility to analyze business processes and implement technical solutions.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills\nHigh level of attention to detail and documentation discipline\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities independently\nPreferred and Additional Skills:\nExperience in any of the following areas is a plus:\nMicrosoft Server Administration\nNetwork and Endpoint Security\nImplementation of NIST Security Standards\nOffice 365 Administration\nCRM/Salesforce Administration\nSecurity & Eligibility Requirement:\nDue to the sensitive and controlled nature of information involved in aerospace, defense, and government programs, U.S. citizenship is required. Access to certain technical data and program materials is restricted under federal regulations and contractual obligations.\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary Range: $100,000 – 110,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)\nComprehensive benefits package including:\n401(k) with company match\nMultiple health insurance plan options (Medical, Dental, Vision)\nLife and disability insurance\nPaid time off and holidays\nPlease note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in New York.
