This role includes roofing, siding, drywall, and structural upgrades, ensuring homes are safe, code-compliant, and professionally restored.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nPerform carpentry work including framing, structural repairs, and modifications.\r\nAssess project sites prior to work commencement to gather measurements, evaluate scope, and identify structural risks.\r\nConduct roof work, including diagnosing and repairing leaks and completing structural upgrades to support additional loads (e.g., solar systems).\r\nInstall and repair drywall and complete siding repairs related to construction or solar installations.\r\nMake structural improvements such as framing and sistering rafters.\r\nDig and prepare trenches for structural or electrical work as needed.\r\nOperate or assist with heavy equipment (e.g., trenchers) and safely tow and maneuver trailers carrying tools and materials.\r\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized job site while adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.\r\nDocument all work thoroughly, including photos and site conditions; submit documentation in a timely manner.\r\nProvide professional, courteous communication with customers and collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.\r\nFollow all company vehicle rules and regulations.\r\nPerform additional construction-related tasks as required.\r\nRequired Skills & Abilities\r\nWorking knowledge of carpentry, roofing, and general construction techniques, tools, and materials.\r\nAbility to assess structural integrity and identify potential issues or risks.\r\nFlexibility to perform a variety of construction and maintenance tasks.\r\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.\r\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic.\r\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\r\nQualifications\r\n1–3 years of experience in construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, or related trades preferred.\r\nComfortable working at heights (roofs) and in confined spaces (attics).\r\nAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.\r\nExperience with or willingness to learn heavy equipment operation.\r\nValid driver's license required; experience towing trailers is a plus.\r\nPreferred Skills\r\nRoofing experience, including repairs and shingle work.\r\nKnowledge of structural reinforcement techniques.\r\nFamiliarity with residential construction practices.\r\nBasic understanding of building codes, safety standards, and proper PPE usage.\r\nLocation(s)\r\n7455 New Ridge Road, Suites C-E, Hanover , Maryland 21076 , United States\r\nTrinity Solar is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
