Our servers play a vital role in every meal – welcoming and guiding, taking orders and serving, and attending to details.\nResponsibilities:\nFollows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training\nSupport fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed\nBe knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly\nAccurately write down guests’ orders and enter into POS system, in a timely manner\nRetrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner\nAbility to assess guests’ demeanor and identify when to summon a Manager\nCollect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner\nPerform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework\nRestock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests\nQualifications:\nCan physically stand/walk 100% of shift\nCan reach, bend, stoop frequently\nAble to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs\nAbility to speak, read and write English\nAbility to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc\nComplete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes\nComplete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes\nBenefits:\n\nFive (5) Day Work Week\nPaid Vacation: One Week after Year One, Two Weeks after Two Years, and Three Weeks after Ten Years\nHealth Insurance – Medical & Dental Programs Available\n401K Plan – Immediate Eligibility.
