This position requires deep expertise in SQL Server 2022, Windows Server 2022, and a proactive mindset for automation and modernization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister, monitor, and optimize large-scale SQL Server 2022 environments (on-prem, hybrid, and cloud).\nEnsure HA/DR (High Availability / Disaster Recovery) using Always On Availability Groups, clustering, replication, and backups.\nPerform advanced performance tuning, index optimization, and query plan analysis.\nDesign and execute database migrations and version upgrades with minimal downtime.\nAutomate routine tasks using PowerShell and SQL Agent Jobs and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.\nSupport Azure SQL, Managed Instance, and hybrid deployments as needed.\nCollaborate with application teams to design scalable and efficient database architectures.\nTroubleshoot escalated database issues, including blocking, deadlocks, and resource contention.\nMaintain detailed documentation of database configurations, SOPs, and recovery plans.\nSome programming experience, exposure to SSIS is good to have.\nNOTE: This is not an operational level position.\nStrong oral and written communication skills along with problem resolution skills is highly desirable.
