{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a70a854f3f9d2e07befc7b81","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a70a854f3f9d2e07befc7b81","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a70a854f3f9d2e07befc7b81","title":"Validation/Verification Engineer","description":"Responsibilities\nPerform Validation/Verification of Technical Manual Pages to Support Abrams, Stryker, SMET, SHORAD and/or Booker series Technical Documentation.\nMust be able to organize and conduct Validation/Verification of Operator, Maintenance and Troubleshooting Technical Publications for tracked and wheeled vehicles and ancillary equipment to insure technical accuracy/usability.\nWill perform troubleshooting, maintenance and software downloading on Abrams, Wolverine, Buffalo, and Stryker series vehicles.\nPerform diagnostics and systems troubleshooting of Abrams, Stryker, SMET, SHORAD and/or Booker vehicles, components, and assemblies.\nSupport Government Verifications and Logistics Demonstrations on tracked and wheeled vehicle technical publications and Government facilities.\nServe as liaison between and Government representatives to resolve technical/administrative issues identified during Validation/Verification and Logistics Demonstrations.\nAnalyze Engineering drawings, electrical schematics and specifications to identify hardware configuration requirements and diagnose vehicle system faults.\nMust be able to use Microsoft Office products and Adobe to develop/maintain departmental forms and records in accordance with ISO standards.\nQualifications\nMust be able to obtain security clearance.\nPrevious military tracked and/or wheeled vehicle operation and/or maintenance experience is highly desirable.\nMust be able to perform diagnostics and systems troubleshooting of Abrams, Wolverine, FOX and Stryker vehicles, components, and assemblies.\nMust be able to meet ASR Guidelines for working in an enclosed vehicle IAW SP 2-644.\nMust be physically able to work on/in tracked and wheeled vehicles.\nOccasional out-of-town travel may be required to conduct programs.\nExtended workdays/workweeks may be required in support of Logistics programs.\nStrong organizational and administrative skills required, including ability to use all Microsoft Office products.\nMust have good oral and written communications skills\nJob Type: Contract\nPay: $40.00 -
