Through our afterschool programs, school break camps, summer camps, preschool enrichment, and special events, we create safe, engaging environments where children can learn, explore, and grow.\nWe are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Program Site Supervisor to oversee all World Explorers programming at an assigned location.\nPosition Summary\nThe Program Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall leadership, daily operations, and quality of all World Explorers programs operating at their assigned site. This role provides direct supervision to onsite staff, ensures compliance with organizational policies and licensing requirements, maintains strong relationships with families and school partners, and creates a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children.\nAs the primary onsite leader, the Program Site Supervisor works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure programs operate efficiently, staff are supported and held accountable, and World Explorers' standards are consistently upheld.\nKey ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership\nOversee the daily operations of all World Explorers programs at the assigned site.\nEnsure programs are safe, organized, engaging, and operating according to company standards.\nMaintain consistent daily routines, schedules, and high-quality program delivery.\nFoster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture.\nStaff Leadership & Supervision\nSupervise, coach, and support counselors and other onsite staff.\nSet clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback to promote staff growth and performance.\nEnsure staff consistently follow company policies, supervision expectations, and safety procedures.\nSupport onboarding, training, and daily staff development.\nCommunicate staffing needs, performance concerns, and operational updates to the Operations Manager.\nChild Safety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with Department of Health (DOH), Department of Education (DOE), licensing requirements, and World Explorers policies.\nMaintain active supervision of children at all times.\nRespond appropriately to incidents, behavioral concerns, illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.\nComplete and submit required documentation accurately and on time.\nFamily & School Partnerships\nServe as the primary onsite contact for families and school personnel.\nBuild and maintain positive, professional relationships with caregivers and school partners.\nAddress questions and concerns promptly while providing excellent customer service.\nSupport family engagement initiatives and site events.\nAdministration & Operations\nMaintain accurate attendance, dismissal records, and program documentation using Brightwheel.\nVerify authorized pickups and ensure safe dismissal procedures.\nMonitor site supplies, equipment, and inventory.\nEnsure classrooms and program spaces remain clean, organized, and program-ready.\nCoordinate daily staffing coverage and communicate operational needs.\nProgram Quality\nMonitor program implementation to ensure activities are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with World Explorers' mission.\nPromote positive behavior management practices and inclusive learning environments.\nIdentify opportunities to strengthen program quality and operational efficiency.\nQualifications\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Human Services, Recreation, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in youth development, childcare, afterschool, camp, or educational programming.\nAt least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience managing staff or leading a team.\nDemonstrated ability to oversee daily program operations, support staff performance, and communicate effectively with families.\nStrong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience supporting children's social-emotional development and positive behavior.\nProficiency with technology and digital recordkeeping;
