About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources department as a Senior HR Generalist in our Hunt Valley, Maryland office on a hybrid schedule. You will be working closely with the Vice President of HR and HR team to support the US and Canadian branches for generalist HR responsibilities. This role will be primarily focused on Recruitment, Retention and Administrative processes to ensure we are hiring and supporting the best employees in the industry.
In this position your key Responsibilities will be:
Ownership of full talent acquisition process through onboarding including:
Liaise with hiring managers on recruitment process including developing and posting job openings on relevant boards, provide ATS access and guidance, resume review, screening interviews, interview scheduling and preemployment behavioral assessments (PI).
Facilitate hiring process including documenting approvals, completing background check process, drafting offer letters and ensuring HR and IT hiring processes are completed.
Coordinate complete onboarding including HR orientation, liaising with manager on training schedule and ensuring completion of full onboarding program.
Coordinate participation at local university career fairs.
Facilitate Immigration process:
Provide managers and international candidates with guidance on immigration process.
Liase between managers, international candidates and external immigration attorney on immigration process.
Monitor visa renewals needed and facilitate timely processing.
Employee Engagement
Facilitate the Events committee to ensure coordination of regular engaging employee events within budget and scope.
Training and Development
Assist in the development and delivery of localized training materials for purposes of skills training, local legislative compliance, employee development and local training needs.
Promote groupwide HR training and development initiatives locally.
Assist with various Employee Engagement initiatives with assessment, administration and action planning.
Administers Employee awards programs.
Administer and Manage the Predictive Index (PI) behavioral assessment tools for both recruitment and team development workshops.
Administers and maintains HR Information Systems
Utilize ADP and Oracle Fusion HCM as the HRIS platform, auditing information for consistency across platforms and maintaining employee files
Enter employee data in relevant systems for new hires, employee changes and terminations.
Assist employees with ADP and Fusion platforms including password resets, time off management, verifications of employment etc.
Maintain all Employee Files including Paper Files, electronic files and HRIS files
Assist Employees and Management with HCM Fusion processes involving Annual Goals and EYR processes
Responsibilities include continual process improvement and legislative review in relation to recruitment and retention processes.
Provide VP HR and Group HR with periodic reports on recruitment, onboarding and general HR metrics
The ideal candidate will have the following profile.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field or commensurate experience required
Five or more years of Human Resources Generalist experience with a focus on recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement preferred
PHR or SHRM CP certification a plus
ADP WFN and Oracle HCM Fusion system experience preferred
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with extreme accuracy, efficiency, and in a timely manner
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
Growth mindset with a positive attitude toward continual improvement
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
