This person will also supervise a team of containment technicians and an inventory control specialist.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAct as Supervisor for the Interiors Prototype Team\n\nMaintain group staffing levels based on new launch program team workload\n\nAdminister performance appraisals effectively and on time\n\nReceive, review, and process customer purchase orders for prototype and low‑volume production parts\n\nRespond to customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs) with accurate and timely information\n\nCommunicate confirmed delivery dates and updates to customers regarding part requirements and order status\n\nCreate, update, and maintain detailed order summary sheets to track project progress and requirements\n\nEnter, manage, and invoice customer purchase orders within the Plex ERP system\n\nMaintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part‑related data within the Plex system\n\nSchedule and release prototype build jobs in Plex to support production timelines\n\nCoordinate cross‑functional activities to ensure on‑time shipment of customer deliverables\n\nCollaborate closely with engineering and laboratory teams to support prototype development, testing, and validation activities\n\nMonitor order progress and proactively resolve issues that may impact delivery commitments\n\nAutomotive prototype and low‑volume production environment\n\nFast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting aligned with customer program milestones\n\nFrequent collaboration with engineering, lab/testing, and manufacturing teams\n\nMay require schedule flexibility to support launch timing and critical program deliverables\n\nPosition Requirements\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\n\n2–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, prototype coordination, production planning, or program support preferred\n\nExperience working with ERP systems (Plex strongly preferred)\n\nFamiliarity with automotive processes such as APQP, PPAP, and prototype build phases (A/B/C samples) preferred\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and changing priorities\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams\n\nDetail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and critical thinking ability\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)\n\nEducation Requirement\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree or other certification based training in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field\n\nFull‑Time / Part‑Time: Full‑Time\n\nShift: Days\n\nLocation: Inteva Products, LLC - Vandalia Technical Center\n\nReq Number: ENG‑26‑00041\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\n\nPositions are open to qualified candidates who have work authorization for the listed locations.
