Black, Indigenous and People of Color, women, LGBTQIA+, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.This position is available at Hampton Inn & Suites Outer Banks CorollaSchedule:6a-1p or until after service is finished.Breakfast Attendant Responsibilities:Preparing for, setting up, and disassembling the buffetEnsuring that the buffet remains stocked with sufficient amounts of food throughout serviceInteracting with guests by taking orders, responding to any questions or complaints, and clearing their eating area upon their departureEnsure that customers' needs are met in a timely manner so that they can leave the dining area by the end of the meal serviceMaintaining cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant throughout the meal service. This includes sanitizing surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, etc.Responsible for taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies for each day.Close out shift by cleaning and restocking supplies for next day or shift.Performs additional duties as needed.Minimum Requirements:Excellent communication and organizational skillsMinimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent with previous experience within the hospitality industry. Experience within a similar role is preferredUnderstanding of food safety and handling guidelinesMust possess the physical ability to work in a demanding position that requires standing for long periods of time and being able to lift 50 pounds without assistance and to stand for long periods of timeAbility to work with little supervisionAbility to remain organized, multitask, and maintain a friendly disposition while communicating with staff and customersAbility to work weekends and holidays as neededBenefits:Pending a waiting period401kHealth, dental, and life insurancePaid time offWeekly pay
