About the Opportunity:The Program Coordinator supports the operational delivery of 1 to 3 state battery stewardship programs. This role ensures program compliance and high performance by managing relationships with customers and collection sites, maintaining program standards, and facilitating smooth, efficient program operations. The position contributes to the organization’s impact by helping to implement effective recycling initiatives that meet regulatory goals.3. Responsibilities:Serve as the primary contact and program ambassador for collection site customers.Onboard customers through expert guidance during all stages of the process.Manage a high volume of communications from multiple sources promptly and accurately.Conduct regular outreach via site visits, phone, and email to support customer satisfaction.Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to optimize account relationships and program performance.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.Compile and analyze program data to monitor performance and recommend improvements.Ensure compliance with state performance goals, including accessibility and collection targets.Partner with the Customer Success team to address site requests effectively.Participate in relevant regional recycling conferences.4. Requirements:Minimum three years of relevant experience in program coordination, customer service, account support, or related fields; or a bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in similar roles.Understanding of activities required to deliver sustainability and recycling programs.Authorized to work legally in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred: experience with high-growth customer-facing programs, Microsoft Office proficiency, CRM software experience, and familiarity with environmental or nonprofit sectors.Strong multitasking, analytical, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.5.
