The ideal candidate is a recognized software professional with hands-on technical expertise and a good understanding of technical engineering concepts. You have demonstrated experience in writing consistently high-quality code using industry best practices. You enjoy a complex user story and tackle sub-tasks with little oversight.\nPosition location is at our Broomfield, CO office with occasional support at prime's location in Boulder, CO.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain application code for web interfaces and time-dynamic geospatial information systems in a Linux environment, primarily using primarily Python\nImplement and document API designs and architecture.\nCommunicate effectively with other departments.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as software architects, program managers, designers, and other engineers to design, develop and test software solution that meet the needs of our customers.\nAnalyze user requirements and develop software specifications.\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows software development best practices.\nConduct code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers.\nDebug and fix issues.\nDevelop and execute test plans to ensure software quality.\nDeploy software applications to production environments.\nMaintain and update software applications to ensure they meet user needs and remain secure.\nDevelop and maintain documentation.\nStay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nClearance Required: Secret\nThis position requires the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
