Project Manager (All Levels)

About MotivoMotivo is looking for passionate Project and Product Managers across multiple experience levels to join our team. We work on clean-sheet, fast-paced product development projects across automotive, robotics, aerospace, and clean energy. Projects move quickly, often weeks or months, not years, and require close collaboration between clients and tightly integrated, multidisciplinary engineering teams.Depending on role and experience, team members may focus on delivery execution, client-facing program leadership, or full-lifecycle product ownership. All roles require comfort operating in ambiguity, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance technical, schedule, and business constraints while driving projects forward.We're looking for leaders who create alignment, build trust, keep projects on track, and put clients' needs at the forefront.What You'll DoSupport and/or lead client-facing hardware development projects from initiation to completionPartner closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and industrial design teamsTranslate client needs into clear technical objectives, schedules, and deliverablesManage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources in a dynamic environmentCommunicate project status, risks, and next steps to internal teams and clientsHelp resolve technical, schedule, and interpersonal conflicts with a calm, solutions-oriented approachBalance scope, cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffsThrive in environments with evolving client needs and figure-it-out requirements Capabilities & Skills (Varies by role)Understanding of hardware product development and system integration across mechanical, electrical, software, and industrial design domainsAbility to apply agile methodologies to both hardware and software developmentExperience with embedded hardware and controls development (strong plus)Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to engineers and clientsExperience managing technical risk, cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffsComfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving scopeAbility to manage multiple concurrent projectsExperience working with tightly integrated multidisciplinary teams (professional or academic-Formula SAE, Solar Car, etc.)BenefitsWe're convinced that the team and the projects are hands-down the best part of working at Motivo.
