The APM serves as a key link between project management, field teams, vendors, and internal support functions.\n\nThis position is intended for a developing project professional who can operate independently within assigned scope, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and escalate risks appropriately. Successful performance in this role prepares individuals for advancement into a Project Manager (Level IV) position.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\nProject Execution & Coordination (40%)\nOwn and manage assigned project workstreams under the guidance of the Project Manager.\nPrepare, track, and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and related documentation.\nSupport project kickoff activities, coordination meetings, and ongoing communication.\nCoordinate with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to support execution and resolve routine issues.\nTrack action items and ensure timely follow-up across internal and external stakeholders.\n\nSchedule, Procurement & Cost Support (25%)\nAssist with development and maintenance of project schedules and milestone tracking.\nSupport procurement activities including material tracking, lead time coordination, and delivery alignment.\nAssist with cost tracking, change order documentation, and internal financial reporting.\nIdentify potential schedule or cost impacts and elevate concerns early.\n\nField & Stakeholder Interface (20%)\nInterface professionally with clients, GCs, subcontractors, and vendors as directed by the Project Manager.\nParticipate in jobsite walks, coordination meetings, and progress reviews as required.\nSupport communication of project plans, constraints, and execution priorities.\nRepresent STC professionally and consistently in all interactions.\n\nDocumentation, Reporting & Closeout (15%)\nMaintain accurate project documentation, logs, and trackers.\nSupport preparation of progress reports, dashboards, and client deliverables.\nAssist with project closeout activities including documentation collection and turnover support.\nContribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts.\n\nCompletion of assigned tasks and deliverables on time with strong attention to detail\nPerforms Other Related Duties as Assigned\n\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\n3–6 years of experience in project coordination, construction management, or related roles within technical, construction, or mission-critical environments\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams with moderate supervision\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through\nClear written and verbal communication skills with professional client-facing capability\nAbility to interpret construction documents, schedules, and project documentation\nComfort working cross-functionally with field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders\nProficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with project management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project, BIM 360) is a plus\nAbility to operate independently within defined scope and escalate issues appropriately\nStrong character, accountability, and willingness to learn and grow into increased responsibility\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe following physical demands must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
