Our Beavercreek facility manufactures gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds, and also has complex machining, fabrication and investment casting capabilities. Product engineering, new product development and testing is performed on site. This facility also does repair and overhaul of tubes, ducts, and manifolds. We have been awarded OSHAS’s highest safety rating.\nRole Overview:\nSet up, operate, edit, and program a variety of computerized machines, such as Furnaces, Lasers, Robots, Coherent General (8-Axis), Presses and/or Benders to customers’ specifications and drawing requirements.\nTest new tooling and/or dies and makes recommendations for modifications.\nPerform regular preventative maintenance and ensure tools are accurately calibrated prior to use\nOperate machine(s) in a prescribed safe manner.\nTrain and work with all areas of the Cell to run other processes as needed.\nWill use a computer daily (checking email, viewing/downloading shop drawings and instructions)\nThe Ideal Candidate:\nEducation or experience in programming and operations in programmable controllers\nTeam Player and willing to operate in a professional environment\nTakes Pride in the work they are doing\nExcellent attendance and punctuality history and availability to work overtime as needed\nAble to work effectively when receiving general supervision (This involves performing routine assignments alone.)\nAble to carry out operations according to set procedures or sequences.\nMakes decisions based on experience & available data\nStrives to meet or exceed job requirements\nAbility to receive and act on constructive feedback\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School graduate or equivalent\nA minimum of six months experience in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Technical Trades, or equivalent relevant work history\nPreferred Qualifications:\nUnderstanding or ability to learn the use of measuring gauges such as manual calipers and micrometers.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints\nAbility to exert 10 pounds of force frequently. May occasionally exert 20 to 50 pounds of force (with assistance, if needed).\nAbility to stand up to 8 hours/day\nAdditional Information:\nWages are $22.75 + per hour based on experience.\nAdditional $1.50 Premium Pay for 2nd shift!!\nYou’ll be operating and working around moving machines – stand-up forklifts, mobile carts, cranes, etc. Due to normal machining operations there may be dust, fumes, or smoke (not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels (PEL)).\nIn addition to sitting and standing while operating equipment, some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.\n\nClosing:\nWe strive to keep a fun and enjoyable shop atmosphere while maintaining the highest level of quality work output.
