Candidates must hold a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph security clearance, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work involved.QualificationsMinimum of 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting complex programs or contracts of similar scope and complexity.Proficiency in developing backend applications using Java, C++, or Python.Experience supporting the development and execution of comprehensive test procedures for software components.Strong background in generating and maintaining detailed technical documentation.Hands-on experience working within an Agile software development environment.Proficiency in developing applications utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies.Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.Demonstrated ability to ensure software quality through rigorous testing, debugging, and defect resolution.Proficiency in source code management using Git.Experience developing applications that interact with relational databases like PostgreSQL, including writing SQL queries.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution; alternatively, five (5) additional years of relevant software engineering experience can substitute for a degree.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain mission-critical backend software applications that support our platform's core functionalities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, system engineers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.Develop and implement test procedures to validate software functionality, reliability, and performance throughout the development lifecycle.Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support ongoing development and future enhancements.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and alignment.Manage source code effectively using Git, ensuring version control and code integrity.Leverage AWS services to support application deployment, scalability, and security.Ensure high-quality software delivery through rigorous testing, code reviews, and defect resolution processes.Engage in continuous learning to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development and cloud computing.BenefitsGrabJobs offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and professional growth of our employees.
