This role is critical in ensuring high-quality, functional panels used in automation and electrical systems across various industries.\n\nWhy This Role Matters\n\nControl panels are the backbone of industrial automation. A strong fabricator ensures:\n\nSystems run safely and efficiently\nInstallations meet electrical codes and client specifications\nProjects stay on schedule without costly rework\nKey Responsibilities\nAssemble and fabricate electrical control panels, enclosures, and subassemblies\nInterpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings\nMount components such as PLCs, relays, terminal blocks, and power supplies\nPerform point-to-point wiring and cable routing\nLabel wires and components according to standards\nConduct quality checks and basic testing of completed panels\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment\nCollaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues\nRequired Qualifications\n2 years of experience in control panel wiring or electrical assembly\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints\nFamiliarity with industrial components (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, etc.)\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality\nBasic understanding of electrical codes and safety standards\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical school or certification in electrical technology or related field\nExperience with UL508A standards (or similar)\nPrior experience in a manufacturing or automation environment\nWork Environment\nShop/manufacturing setting\nMay require standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs\n\nLocation: Bethlehem, PA - Known for its rich history, vibrant arts scene, and strong industrial heritage, Bethlehem offers a unique blend of cultural attractions and a welcoming community.\n\nBenefits\nPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
