This role involves supervising a variety of service lines, including basic landscape maintenance, installation, and supportive services such as irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications. The Crew Leader plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction through effective team leadership and high-quality service delivery.\n \n Duties and Responsibilities:\n \n * Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met\n * Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Operations Manager\n * Assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed\n * Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies\n * Communicate regularly with Operations Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded\n * Deliver services as specified on client sites\n * Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work\n * Coordinate service execution with Operations Manager\n * Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegate work to crew team members\n * Provide Operations Manager feedback on crew member(s)\n * Work with Operations Manager, helping to develop and train crew members\n * Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order\n * Participate in branch meetings as directed\n * Accurately capture and turn in crew time logs through electronic time capture (ETC)\n * Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles\n \n Education and Experience:\n \n * BrightView Equipment certifications\n * Experience in a landscape-related field\n * Demonstrated leadership among the team and with peers\n * Valid Driver's License\n \n Physical Demands/Requirements:\n \n * Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)\n * Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.)\n * Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day\n * Driver's License\n \n Work Environment:\n \n * Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic\n * Work near or about natural bodies of water\n * Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit\n * Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time\n * Work outdoors in moderate to extreme heat in dry/humid near automotive traffic, natural bodies of water, fumes, dust, mechanical/electrical hazards, and direct sunlight.\n * Requires protective clothing and personal devices: Eye protection, safety vest, gloves, hard hat, earplugs, long-sleeved shirts, and work boots\n \n BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.\n \n This job description is subject to change at any time.\n \n Compensation Pay Range:\n \n $19.00 - $25.00\n \n BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
