You'll lead product development end-to-end, driving innovation in a technically demanding, high-precision environment.What You'll Do (Job Duties)Lead product development from concept through validation and manufacturing transitionDesign mechanical systems, tooling, and equipment for precision optical applicationsApply DFM/DFA principles and GD&T to optimize designs for performance and manufacturabilitySelect materials and components to meet demanding technical and environmental requirementsConduct design reviews and manage verification and validation activitiesMaintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and change controlDrive continuous improvement, including additive manufacturing methodsCollaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, and Supply ChainManage multiple project timelines and technical priorities simultaneouslyWhat You Bring (Requirements And Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field5-10 years of design engineering experienceStrong product development and project management backgroundAdvanced CAD proficiency; Autodesk Inventor experience preferred (training available)Deep understanding of GD&T and machining/manufacturing methodsTypical Client Benefits Include the following.
