Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is designed to cover a maternity leave from August through October (exact dates to be provided). The caseload consists of approximately 40 students in grades K-8, offering a rewarding chance to foster communication skills in a supportive educational environment. This position offers 20-25 hours per week, allowing for professional contribution while maintaining work-life balance.
Qualifications:
Active SC Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
Valid South Carolina Educator Certificate
Proven experience with IEP development and management
Previous work in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students, adapting methods to meet individual needs
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and communication goals
Complete timely assessments, documentation, and progress monitoring in compliance with IEP requirements
Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and contributing to student plans
Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
