(see E Ink Our Company)\r\nAbout the position\r\nE Ink is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join our team in inventing and developing advanced driving methods for e-Paper display technology, enabling novel capabilities and features for future products. In this role, you will contribute to new display product development by designing and executing electro-optical experiments and performing in-depth analysis of display performance. You will also contribute to process development and improvements for products going to and in production.\r\nAs a key member of the team, you will take ownership of challenging exploratory projects that drive product improvements and enable new products within a culture of open review and rigorous technical discussion.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDevelop a deep understanding of E Ink display technology through hands-on work with cameras, controllers, and complete system setups used to drive and characterize electro-optical display performance.\r\nDefine performance metrics and design, execute, and analyze controlled experiments to investigate display phenomena and anomalies, identify root causes, and address fundamental technical challenges.\r\nSupport the development and evaluation of new materials and emerging technologies.\r\nSupport customer-facing data collection and issue investigation.\r\nDocument experimental methods, results, and conclusions, and present findings clearly to technical stakeholders.\r\nQualifications\r\nB.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Signal Processing, or a related field.\r\n1-3 years of work experience.\r\nStrong hands-on aptitude with a passion for laboratory-based research and experimentation.\r\nDemonstrated experience designing controlled experiments, performing detailed data analysis, and drawing sound technical conclusions.\r\nProgramming experience required, with strong preference for proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB.\r\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve real hardware systems.\r\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic team environment.\r\nPreferences\r\nExperience with cameras, optical systems, electronic devices, and laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators.\r\nBenefits\r\nCompetitive total compensation package.\r\nMedical, dental and vision on 1st day.\r\nCompany 401K match.\r\n20 PTO days.\r\nGenerous sick leave policy.\r\nCasual day to day work environment.\r\nHybrid/flexible work environment (for some positions).\r\nE Ink is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
