Uses a wide range of procedures to accomplish assigned objectives.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNo supervision: No supervisory responsibilities.\nEducation & Experience:\n5+ years of experience planning, designing, and project managing technology system implementations; required ideally in K-12 or commercial facilities; preferred\n2+ years of experience with technology and security designs early in the architectural design process from Schematic Design (SD) to Design Development (DD); plus,\n2+ years of account management including overall management and financial tracking responsibilities for all technology and security projects for a single client; plus\nProficiency in technology system and IT infrastructure design, preferred\nProficiency in network systems, PA systems, clock systems, and audio visual infrastructure; plus.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; preferred\nStrong communication and documentation skills; ability to engage with non-technical school personnel.\nAbility to manage time across multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative remote or hybrid team environment.\nProven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.\nDemonstrated creative thinking, design ability, and technical proficiency.\nLicenses and Certifications:\nOne or more licenses and/or certification(s).\nBICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD); a plus\nBICSI certified Network Technology Specialist (NTS); a plus\nAvixa Certified Technology Specialist (CTS); a plus\nAvixa Certified Technology Specialist - Designer (CTS-D); a plus\nAvixa Audiovisual Network Professional (ANP), a plus\nOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nStrong understanding of technology codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and project management skills.\nStrong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and active listening skills.\nStrong organizational and time management skills; with attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)\nExpertise in tools such as Bluebeam REVU; preferred\nExpertise in tools AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM); a plus\nAbility and willingness to travel to project sites in Michigan as needed.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of two or more technologies including structured cabling, network infrastructure, security cameras, access control, intrusion alarm, mass notification, audio/visual systems, public address systems, and/or wireless clock systems\nExperience in managing client relationships and business development.\nExperience designing for K-12 and other commercial buildings / facilities.
