This role focuses on optimizing production processes, minimizing shortages and excess stock, and supporting operational efficiency. The Plant Manager collaborates with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to maintain proper operation levels and meet organizational goals.\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop, implement, and maintain operation control procedures and best practices.\nEnsure plant operations are followed and KPI’s are in place to measure performance.\nMonitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing overstock and waste.\nInvestigate and resolve operations discrepancies, shortages, or damages.\nManage labor to ensure efficient production of goods.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain and operational efficiency.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.\nAbility to lead, motivate, and develop team members.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nProfessional demeanor and customer service orientation.\nFlexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities and tasks.\nReliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.\nEducation and Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n3–5+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools.\nExperience leading or supervising teams is preferred.\nKnowledge of inventory control best practices, forecasting, and supply chain processes.\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout warehouse or storage areas for extended periods.\nCapability to lift and carry items up to 25–50 pounds (as required).\nFrequent bending, reaching, and climbing (e.g., ladders or stairs).\nVisual ability to read labels, screens, and documentation.\nAbility to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks), if required.\nWork may occur in varying environments, including warehouse conditions with temperature fluctuations\nAlltech is an equal opportunity employer.
