The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. The selected candidate will be embedded in an Agile scrum team, contributing to the design, development, and sustainment of a large-scale enterprise application that manages collection, exploitation, dissemination, and production requirements across a broad network of data suppliers. This is an exciting opportunity to work on operationally significant software that directly supports national intelligence missions.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAs a member of an Agile scrum team, the engineer will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities including designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software containing logical and mathematical solutions to mission-critical problems. The engineer will apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the full development lifecycle; leverage knowledge of computer hardware, software, and information processing techniques to build and improve applications; correct program errors; compile program documentation; and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.\n\nRequired Skills/Experience:\n\nJava development, including writing, modifying, and troubleshooting Java code\nNavigating and troubleshooting multiple operating system environments including Linux and Windows\n\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\n\nLarge-scale software development and CI/CD integration pipeline experience using Docker, Chef, Git, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Conductor, Kafka/Zookeeper, Consul, and CMDB\nCOTS/FOSS integration and support\nAgile development including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and associated tools such as VersionOne and Jira\nCloud infrastructure concepts and implementation\nDevelopment tools and technologies including Angular, Oracle, Docker, SQL, Git, DevSecOps, and automated testing\nBig data technologies including data ingest, analytics, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, GitOps pipelines, Kinetica, and COTS integration\nDatabase and SQL development using Oracle DBMS, PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, MongoDB, and MySQL RDS\nPython development\nAI and Machine Learning technologies\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field\nActive Top Secret/SCI clearance\nU.S. citizenship required; must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\n\nNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country's most crucial missions!
