Sales Director
OverviewOur client is a well-established food and beverage distribution company with a large international footprint. They\'re currently seeking a Sales Director to oversee their existing sales team, which covers the company\'s largest revenue generating territory from San Diego to Santa Barbara. Although they are a large national distributor, their local operations function more like a smaller company at the regional level – a best of both worlds scenario.Sales Director – Santa Fe SpringsMust have experience managing a large sales team (25+ reps)Must have experience in a high-volume ($100M+ sales) environmentFood/Bev sales experience preferred but not requiredMust have excellent communication and management experienceWill recommend and implement improvements in sales methods, procedures, and go-to-market strategyWill coordinate with production/warehousing in regards to forecasting/demand planningWill split time between office and out in field with sales repsSalary likely $130- $150K + bonus, car allowance, mileage, benefits, PTO, and 401kResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the existing sales team across the regional territory (San Diego to Santa Barbara)Recommend and implement improvements in sales methods, procedures, and go-to-market strategyCoordinate with production and warehousing regarding forecasting and demand planningBalance time between office leadership and field engagement with sales repsQualificationsMust have experience managing a large sales team (25+ reps)Must have experience in a high-volume ($100M+ sales) environmentFood/Bev sales experience preferred but not requiredMust have excellent communication and management experienceThis is a great role for somebody who enjoys stability with their employer, and wants to directly impact the operations and trajectory of their company!If interested, please attach a copy of your resume, and we look forward to chatting with you soon.
