Oversee that employees are adhering to the Company’s safety policies and procedures.\nDuties and responsibilities\nBe punctual when arriving to work and returning from breaks or lunch\nPurchase all remaining material, equipment, and subcontractors required to complete their project using pre-determined budgets as a strict guideline.\nSupervise all work related to personnel, subs, labor, materials and equipment being used on the job. Check for flaws in material or poor workmanship. Responsible for making sure all work is completed correctly and on time. Oversee site subcontractors are following OSHA guidelines.\nPrepare job report daily to include: employee hours, categories worked, subs, suppliers, weather conditions, tool usage, repairs needed, equipment usage, notating problems, job hold-up explanations, % of job completion, extras, accidents/injuries and any other pertinent information.\nExecution of jobsite activities including weekly projection report to manager to determine work schedule and where manpower will be required.\nAdhere to project schedule and deadlines. Recommend measures to improve work methods and suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment.\nCommunicate job-related problems or questions you may incur with the Project Manager prior to starting the day’s schedule.\nContact subcontractors to arrange scheduling and maintain controls.\nCheck in all materials delivered to the job site referencing materials lists and quantities. Check for damaged goods and return and re-order accordingly.\nAnalyze and resolve work and personnel problems to resolve in a prompt manner.\nMaintain project folder to communicate to Project Manager including: job schedule, phone numbers, blueprints, specs, addendums, shop drawings, and budget sheet.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date plans and specifications for all projects and turn in final “as built” drawings for office file.\nMaintain a neat, safe an organized jobsite at the end of each day.\nPrepare “Additional Work Authorization” forms for on-the-job changes from the original contract. Turn into Project Manager for processing.\nAttend monthly supervisor, safety and operation meetings. Organize and lead meetings when required.\nMaintain a positive attitude.\nWork in a steady & safe pace\nAny other duties set forth by the Owner\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED is required.\nBachelor’s degree in Construction management, preferred\nMinimum of 4 years of related experience in Construction\nValid Driver’s License (Class E)\nKnowledge of codes, permits and OSHA regulations=\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications Required:\nExcellent Industry Knowledge\nPositive Attitude and communicator\nGood level computer skills\nExcellent attention to detail\nExcellent multitasking skills\nKnowledge of, adhering to safety codes (OSHA)\nMaintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures (employee handbook and safety polices)\nAble to successfully follow verbal and written instructions\nA Good Team Player\nAdheres to change well\nPay based on experience\n$200.00 dollars per night per diem paid while traveling\nWorking conditions\nWorking conditions at William’s Construction may include normal office conditions, enduring hot weather, standing for extended periods of time on concrete flooring, and lifting heavy objects to waist height and/or above the head. Hire may be required to endure the elements. This could include being out in foul weather.\nPhysical requirements\nThis position is expected to endure up to 8 hours of standing and walking on concrete or uneven ground on jobsites including use of stairs and ladders.\nSeeing: Must able to see to read and follow instructions\nHearing: Must be able to hear to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and coworkers\nSitting: Must be able to sit for long periods of time\nStanding/Walking: Must be able to move about worksite\nClimbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products or materials\nLifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds\nEmployee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of this position’s current regulations and requirements.
