As a Material Handler 1, your responsibilities will include general warehousing, shipping, receiving, stock put-away, work order and sales order fulfillment, as well as daily cleanup and organization. These tasks will support various departments across the organization, and your role will not be limited to any one specific area.\n\nWhat you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)\nWhile each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:\nShop Order Pulling:\nAccurately pull daily shop orders for internal customers by assembling production kits.\nStage kits on the production floor in accordance with the assembly schedule.\n\nShipping and Receiving:\nAssist in efficiently pulling customer orders to ensure timely shipping and delivery.\nStocking of inbound received parts.\nPackage completed assemblies for shipment.\n\nCycle Counting:\nConduct weekly inventory counts to maintain accurate records to ensure consistency and precision.\n\nWhat we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)\nWe each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:\nRequired Experience\n1 year of warehouse experience or equivalent experience\nPreferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nERP System experience, IFS preferred.\nExperience with Microsoft suite applications\nGood customer service skills\nAbility to multi-task and remain organized\nEducation & Certifications\nForklift certification preferred but not required.\nInternational shipping experience and/or certifications.\nTravel & Working Environment\n8:30 AM – 5 PM\nThe employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time.\nThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.\nHow we live our culture\nOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
