You'll use AI-assisted tools like Claude Code as a core part of your daily workflow, and you'll be expected to bring strong judgment about what that output gets right, what it gets wrong, and when it shouldn't be used at all.\n\nOur teams work in an AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) where product, UX, engineering, and QA work through problems together in real time rather than handing off requirements down a line. As a Senior Engineer, you're an active voice in that room: shaping solutions, raising technical risks early, and helping turn ambiguous ideas into working software. You'll also be a go-to resource and mentor for other engineers on the team.\n\nCore Job Duties\n\nDesign, build, and maintain features across the stack using .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and CosmosDB\nUse AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or similar) to accelerate delivery, while owning the quality, correctness, and maintainability of everything you ship\nCollaborate in real time with product, UX, and QA through the AIDLC to define, refine, and deliver work\nReview code, both human and AI-generated, with a sharp eye for logic errors, edge cases, security issues, and drift from team standards\nMentor and support other engineers, especially on debugging, problem decomposition, and effective use of AI tools\nBuild and maintain automated tests and contribute to CI/CD through Azure Pipelines\nInvestigate and resolve escalated production issues\nHelp improve team practices, standards, and workflows as our AI-first model matures\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n7+ years of professional web application and services development, with recent hands-on experience in AI-assisted development\nStrong proficiency with C#, .NET (current versions), Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server\nExperience with CosmosDB or another NoSQL database\nExperience with microservice architecture, pub/sub, and asynchronous messaging\nExperience with Azure, Azure Pipelines, Git, and Docker\nSolid unit and integration testing practices\nDemonstrated ability to evaluate and correct AI-generated code rather than accepting it at face value\nComfortable working through ambiguity in collaborative, fast-moving sessions with product and UX\nExperience mentoring or supporting other developers\nEager to learn, and comfortable with tools and workflows that are still evolving\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience with large enterprise or SaaS platforms, ideally in HCM, payroll, or HR tech\nExperience working on distributed teams across time zones\n\nAbout isolved®\n\nisolved is a leading provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions that combines modern technology with expert services and support.
