You will perform various assembly, sealing, and finishing tasks on production hardware, including hermetic sealing, laser welding, paint touch-up, epoxy application, and hardware installation. This role provides hands-on training in laser operations, mechanical assembly techniques, quality inspection, and manufacturing processes following our Manufacturing Execution System.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nPerforming basic hermetic sealing operations using laser welder under supervision\nLearning to work in a glovebox environment with machine tools and precision instruments\nPerforming paint touch-up on production assemblies as needed\nApplying epoxy sealing and epoxy staking to components per work instructions\nTorquing hardware to specification using torque wrenches and following documented procedures\nInterpreting drawings, written instructions, and routers to complete assigned tasks\nInspecting completed work for conformance to specifications with guidance\nReading and following laser weld diagrams, drawings, and assembly instructions\nLoading fixtures and making basic process adjustments under supervision\nUtilizing a microscope to inspect parts and identify quality issues\nPerforming basic tooling setup per work instructions\nMaintaining quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System\nMonitoring and documenting operational issues and reporting to supervisor\nMeeting production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards\nSelf-monitoring of workmanship and seeking feedback for improvement\nUnderstanding and following all safety requirements in use of manufacturing equipment\nUpdating job knowledge by participating in training opportunities and reading technical publications\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nAbility to read and follow assembly drawings, routers, and written/verbal instructions in English\nBasic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity\nWillingness to learn laser equipment, tooling, and processes\nBasic computer skills\nBasic problem-solving skills\nAbility to lift 50 pounds\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n0-2 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred but not required\nFlexible and willing to work on a variety of jobs depending on business need\nKnowledge of or willingness to learn ESD procedures\nEnthusiastic, cooperative, and positive attitude\nAttention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions\nStrong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment\nAbility to multi-task in a flexible and changing environment\nCapable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment\nPrevious experience with hand tools, torque wrenches, or precision instruments\nPost-secondary technical education or CNC training\nGood verbal and written communication skills\n\nThis position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
