This role serves asthe primary point of contact between the company and its customers,ensuring that quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met whilemaintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and internalefficiency. This position requires a highly proactive, hands-onindividual who engages deeply in program details to ensure teamcommitments and contractual requirements are met.Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internaldepartments (engineering, production, quality, purchasing). Monitor all aspects of customer programs: pricing, scheduling,production planning, delivery, and follow-up. Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure milestones are meton time and within budget. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensuremanufacturability and compliance with customer specifications. Monitor program performance using key metrics (OTD, cost, andquality), and provide regular status reports to stakeholders. Anticipate and resolve potential issues with procurement,scheduling, quality, or customer expectations. Lead regular internal and customer-facing meetings to provideupdates, facilitate planning, and resolve problems. Drive continuous improvement efforts in program execution andcustomer service. Support contract review, risk analysis, and documentation processesfor new and ongoing projects.Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or relatedfield (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of experience in a program or project managementrole, preferably in a mid-sized machine shop, CNC manufacturing, oraerospace/defense environment. Strong understanding of machining, fabrication, and assemblyprocesses. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (especially Excel andProject). Familiarity with quality systems (AS9100, ISO 9001) and job shopmanufacturing workflows. Self-Starter with ability to execute daily tasks, manage schedule,and resolve issues by engaging the affected parties, with littleoversight.Preferred Qualifications PMP or similar project management certification. Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing. Working knowledge of CAD/CAM files and manufacturing documentation(blueprints, routers, travelers). Experience with government or military contracts (DFARS, ITAR). Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability forprogram outcomes Results-driven mindset; comfortable challenging assumptions,escalating issues when necessary, and driving decisions to closure Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain focus on overallprogram objectives, priorities, and business impact Effective collaborator who works well across engineering,manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and customerorganizations Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence withoutdirect authority in a matrix environment Decisive and adaptable; able to balance competing priorities in adynamic, fast-paced environment Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and takes actionbefore they impact program performance Professional, customer-focused demeanor with the ability to buildtrust and credibility
